Relocation or Removal of Modular Buildings
Efficient removal and relocation of modular buildings is what we do best. At JPL Modular, we manage the entire process from start to finish—ensuring a smooth, stress-free transition. Whether you're relocating to a new site or clearing space for future development, we provide tailored solutions to suit your needs. Trust our experienced team to handle your modular building move with care, precision, and minimal disruption.
Relocation
One of the key advantages of modular construction is its flexibility — including the ability to relocate buildings either onsite or to a new location. At JPL Modular, building relocation is a core part of our business.

Before any move, our team conducts a thorough inspection of all modules, regardless of their age or condition. Ensuring structural integrity is essential for safe lifting and transport. If there’s any uncertainty, we consult with a qualified structural engineer to verify the building’s condition.

JPL will determine the most suitable bracing system for transport and work closely with the appointed crane company to plan and execute the safest lift methodology.

REMOVAL
When a building is no longer needed onsite JPL Modular can make sure it is packed up and removed from site with minimal disruption.

Experts at working in a live environment, JPL can work with clients on strategies to minimize noise & disruption including weekend or night works.
The removal process generally includes:
- Disconnection of all service
- Removal of all stair, ramps, decks & landings
- Removal of sub floor skirting
- De-complexing of modules and removal of all flashings
- Securing of all loose items including A/C head units
- Installation of bracing for Transport
- Labour to lift and place modules on trucks
- Removal of all block piers
- Removal of rubbish and tidy site for hand over
CHALLENGING LOCATIONS
At JPL Modular, we thrive on challenges. We’re the go-to team for getting modular buildings into the most difficult and hard-to-reach locations onsite — whether it’s down a ramp into a basement with low ceilings or a tight corner on a busy site, we’ll get it done.

To make this possible, we’ve invested in hydraulic tools and specialist plant and equipment that eliminate manual handling, making the process safer and faster.
Our team also uses custom-designed jigs and skates that allow us to maneuver buildings into position using just a forklift — ideal for warehouse and basement installations.
